The Piaule Multispecies Habitats is a series of three structures, designed as armatures to support a variety of bird nesting boxes, bat houses, and insect habitat boxes. The installation is located along a walking trail, and designed with attention to local wildlife in the Catskill region. The project was commissioned as part of the Piaule Multispecies Fellowship that was awarded to Joyce Hwang by Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture in 2022.
