LETTERS TO THE MAYOR @ STOREFRONT

Joyce Hwang’s letter concerning the City of Buffalo is included in Letters to the Mayor, an exhibition at Storefront for Art and Architecture that presents fifty letters written by international architects to the political leaders of more than 20 cities around the world. Each letter provides a space of reflection for the architect to present ideas and methodologies and express some of the concerns and desires that might contribute to action within political spheres. April 30 – May 24, 2014.

2014 EMERGING VOICES

We are honored and excited to have been selected by the Architectural League for the 2014 Emerging Voices award!

The Architectural League’s annual Emerging Voices lecture series and award spotlights individuals and firms with a distinct design ‘voice’ that has the potential to influence the discipline of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design.  Since 1982, the juried series has featured architects and designers from throughout North America who have a significant body of realized work that not only represents the best of its kind, but also creatively addresses larger issues of architecture, landscape, and the built environment. As part of the Emerging Voices lecture series, Joyce Hwang will present work by Ants of the Prairie on Thursday, March, 13, 2014, at 7 pm, Scholastic Auditorium, 557 Broadway, NYC.
